In total, Ruslan Shostak purchased more than 200 cars worth UAH 73 million for the HEROCAR charity project.
The 10 pickup trucks that Shostak handed over to the defenders of Ukraine are intended for the fire support groups of the 5th Assault Brigade, which will liberate the lands of Ukraine captured by the russian invaders. Mortars and other weapons were installed in the cargo compartments of these vehicles.
Purchase, delivery and preparation of cars for the front is provided by HEROCAR - the only national platform that supplies cargo pickups for the needs of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. HEROCAR specializes in FORD F-series all-terrain pickups. Such cars are most in demand on the front line. They are needed by scouts, attack aircraft, special purpose groups and "drone hunters".
"This kind of business support combined with the stability of the Defense Forces only means that we will hold the Fortress," noted Serhiy Lysak, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration and head of the regional military administration.
"Machines are needed by groups of mortars that will support the infantry units that will attack the positions of the occupiers with fire. Mobility is extremely important for fire support groups. Therefore, powerful and capacious pickups from HEROYCAR are a good platform for installing mortars and other weapons. The mobility and accuracy of mortars depend on the lives of infantrymen and the effectiveness of offensive actions."
Oleksandr Pugach, head of the HEROCAR project, said.
The request for a car for a counteroffensive is urgent. In total, the 5th assault brigade needs 15 powerful pickups. The project team has the technical capabilities to quickly deliver the cars needed for the Armed Forces from abroad and to prepare the machines for the needs of the front and provide maintenance.
